Functionality & Features

TheBar is your all-in-one AI assistant that helps you chat, search the web, create presentations, write documents, and build websites. Simply ask TheBar what you need, and it will help you get it done.

You can chat with TheBar just like you would with any messaging app. Ask questions, get answers, and have conversations on any topic. TheBar provides helpful, accurate responses to help you with your work or personal needs. You can also attach files to your messages - TheBar supports images, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, text files, code files, and PDFs up to 3MB in size.

Yes! TheBar can search the internet for you in limited capacity, find information, check prices, locate businesses, and gather data from websites. Simply ask TheBar what you need to find, and it will automatically open your browser, navigate through websites, and provide you with the information you need.

Absolutely! Ask TheBar to create slides on any topic, and it will generate a complete presentation for you. You can also attach data files (like spreadsheets) and ask TheBar to create a presentation with charts and tables. TheBar will automatically format the data into visually appealing slides. You can then edit the slides by asking TheBar to make changes, or edit them manually yourself. Your presentations are saved locally on your computer under your creations.

Yes, you can ask TheBar to create documents on any subject. Once created, you can refine them by giving TheBar additional instructions, or make manual edits as needed. All documents are stored locally on your computer under your creations.

Yes! TheBar can create front-end websites, from simple single-page sites to complex multi-page applications. TheBar focuses on creating the visual and interactive parts of websites (what users see and interact with in the browser). Currently, TheBar does not create backend functionality like server-side code or databases. You can ask for specific features, styles, or front-end functionality, and TheBar will build it for you. After TheBar creates the initial website, you can ask for modifications or edit it manually to match your exact preferences. Your websites are saved locally on your computer, and you can choose to publish them online when you're ready.

You can create a new chat at any time to clear the context and start fresh. This helps TheBar focus on new topics without being influenced by previous conversations.

Yes! When you're ready to share your work, you can use the publish button to make it available on our website. TheBar will provide you with a unique web address (URL) where others can view your published content. You can share this URL with anyone, and they can view your published website, document, or presentation directly in their browser. Until you choose to publish, all your work is saved under your creations.

You can attach files up to 3MB in size. Supported formats include: images (PNG, JPG, JPEG, WEBP), office documents (DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX), text files (TXT, XML, CSV), code files (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, C/C++, C#, Ruby, PHP, Swift, Kotlin, Rust, and shell scripts like Bash, Zsh, Fish, PowerShell, Batch), configuration files (YAML, JSON, HTML, CSS, SCSS, SASS, LESS), markdown files (MD, MARKDOWN), and PDFs.

You can ask TheBar anything - from general knowledge questions to specific requests for designing webpages, writing documents, creating presentations and searching the web. TheBar is designed to assist with a wide variety of needs.

TheBar excels at front-end web development (creating websites and web pages - the visual and interactive parts), document creation (reports, papers, business cards), presentation slides (for meetings, classes, or pitches), web browsing (searching, finding information, checking prices), and general chat (answering questions, explaining concepts, creative tasks).

Pricing & Plans

For example, the Plus plan would be $225 per year (instead of $300), the Pro plan would be $1,800 per year (instead of $2,400), and the Business plan would be $315 per user per year (instead of $420).

No! All plans, including the free trial, include unlimited chatting and browsing. The only limits apply to creating documents, presentations, and websites, which vary by plan.

Each plan includes a specific number of credits for documents, presentations, and websites. In the free trial and Plus plans, these credits are not flexible - you get 3 per task type (9 total) for the trial or 20 per task type (60 total) for Plus. In Pro and Business plans, credits are flexible and can be used across different task types. For example, the Pro plan gives you 40 credits per task type (120 total flexible credits), so if you need 30 documents and 10 presentations, you can use your 120 total credits however you prefer across all three task types.

If you're just getting started, try our free trial to see how TheBar works for you. For occasional users, the Plus plan ($25/month) offers a good balance with 20 credits per task type (60 total credits). If you need more capacity and flexibility, the Pro plan ($200/month) provides 40 credits per task type (120 total flexible credits). For teams of 2 or more, the Business plan ($35/user/month) offers 20 credits per task type per user (60 total flexible credits per user) with team features. For larger organizations with 5+ users, contact us about our Enterprise plan for custom pricing and features.

Privacy & Security

All your work - including documents, presentations, and websites - is stored locally on your computer. Your creations are saved on your computer under your creations folder.

When you attach files to your conversations, we store the file content and the local file path (the location on your computer where the file is stored) solely for reference purposes. This allows TheBar to access and process the file. Both the file and its path are stored securely on our servers and associated with a device token. Additionally, we store your chat history, model responses, any uploaded files, and payment information including emails and names during the payment process. We do not link tokens to emails or accounts, so we cannot associate stored prompts with a specific person or delete individual prompts on request.

No, we do not store your personal browsing history. However, the query and execution success and our model responses are saved in our database along with your optional feedback.

Yes, we use third-party tools and services, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use our website and improve our services. These third-party services may collect and retain information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and other usage data for their own retention periods as determined by their privacy policies. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Additionally, we use AI model providers to power TheBar's functionality, and these providers may store your conversations as part of their data retention policies.

We use end-to-end encryption and follow strict security protocols to protect your data.
